Alicia was a pretty child, and is a beautiful young lady. But her real beauty comes from within. And although she is the middle child of an older gifted sister, and younger gifted brother she has never displayed any real dislike of being the middle sibling. When Alicia was born her mother and I were so glad that her older sister (Erica) would have a sibling to grow up with. And five years later when her younger brother (Joshua) was born, I thought it may become a problem with her not getting the attention as the youngest child any longer. But no Alicia was still the happy child that we have always come to know.
And now that she is a full grown woman she has provided new energy to our family by bringing a new life into the world, and making her mom and dad very proud grandparents. Our grandson (Dalen) has given our family a new focus on life – and joined us with another family (Lamarr Boudreaux) for life. So today parenting means to me being thankful to God that we have been blessed to have children. Happy birthday my precious daughter, enjoy your special day. We love you and are so very proud of you. And your mom say’s “happy birthday boo” (smile).
