And one critical issue facing our Country is Voting Rights! This Country is founded on the idea that each citizen has equal opportunity to casting their vote on local, state, and federal elections. However now we see multiple states making it harder for citizens to cast their votes by closing polling sites, restricting vote by mail options, blocking early and weekend voting, and other measures.
As a wartime Navy Veteran, I take seriously the threat to our nation by our own leaders to not work together to make life better for its people. I’ve seen other countries around the world without a democratic democracy oppress its people and leave them few opportunities to pursue happiness.
Let’s make 2022 the year that you take seriously, and stay focused on standing up for democracy, because regardless of how you feel about our government, your life will be directly affected by how well our leaders communicate effectively with one another! So, let’s do our part by electing the best representatives who will work towards building up and uniting our great nation! Get involved and engaged! Have a fantastic 2022.
