This writer can appreciate a perspective from someone who does not live in America, and/or is not a Citizen of the U.S., albeit a professional in history and world government. I think the eyes from someone looking from the outside can give valuable insights.
America indeed is facing some challenging times; a world-wide pandemic, economic pressures, climate change, serious domestic concerns, and mounting international concerns.
I think when all is said and done; the question comes down to, what kind of a Country and World do you want to live in? And if most of us respond by saying a safe world where people of all races, ethnicities, and backgrounds can pursue their purpose and happiness, then I suggest we collectively commit to doing what is necessary to make that happen!
